The Next Generation Touring car has been engineered by GPR Motorsport, in Buckingham. Toyota produces the 2007 Avensis Wagon in the UK and its diesel engine in the new Toyota Motor Industries Poland factory. Its exterior design is very dynamic and complex and also very modern.
On the inside features a new color and trim, better quality and new ergonomics for the navigation system, steering wheel switches and instrumental panel. All these are actually perfect for customers that want a more modern feel.
The model is powered by a 2.0-liter D-4D 125 engine that will be able to achieve low CO2 emissions. It can deliver 126 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque and can reach a top speed of 200 km/h. It has the capacity of speeding from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds. In the mid-range is able to reach 80 to 120 km/h in 12.0 seconds. The power is being sent to the wheels through a six-speed manual transmission offered as standard.
